Miriam is currently a third year biochemistry student at the University of St. Andrews. She has a keen interest in infectious diseases and global health issues and is passionate about using data to understand and address health inequalities in underserved communities.

Through her internship at LifeArc, Miriam hopes to develop her skills in health data analysis, real world evidence and working with complex biomedical datasets in translational research context. She is particularly interested in exploring how patient data can be used to understand disparities in health outcomes across different populations.
